It was modeled after Allen-Bradley’s/Rockwell’s RSLogix 500 program, and in fact emulates that other software deeply, looks- and operation-wise. In other words, it offers students of PLC programming and ladder logic a completely virtual environment for their learning efforts, also providing PLC simulation within the program so that users will not have to buy dedicated hardware. The LogixPro Simulator is marketed as a PLC training system. The only trial edition is in fact unavailable in CD form, being a downloadable executable file instead. While a CD/key edition does in fact exist for this program, it is not a trial edition.
